3.4 If you do
not wish us to collect the above information/personal data, you may opt out by
giving written notice to our Data Protection Officer. For more information on
opting out, please see the section below titled “How can you withdraw your
consent, delete, request access to, or modify the information you have provided
to us?” However, please note that opting out or withdrawing your consent to our
collection, use, or processing of your personal data may affect your use of the
Services and Platform. For example, opting out of location information
collection will result in the disabling of its location-based features.
4. Collection of
Other Information
4.1. As with
most websites and mobile applications, the information sent by your device may
include data about you recorded by our web servers when you browse our website.
This typically includes, but is not limited to, your Internet Protocol (IP)
address, computer/mobile device operating system and browser type, mobile
device type, mobile device characteristics, unique device identifier (UDID) or
mobile device identifier (MEID) for your mobile device, the address of the
recommended website (if any), and the pages you visited on our website and
mobile applications and the time of your visit, and sometimes cookies (which
can be disabled using your browser preferences) to help the website remember

information do we retain, and how does GlobalBuy protect user information?
7.1. We

used for one or more of the aforementioned purposes. These third-party service

proceedings), where GlobalBuy's holding of personal data concerning our service

GlobalBuy allows you to share videos from YouTube (“YouTube Content”) in the
GlobalBuy Live feature. For this purpose, GlobalBuy uses the YouTube API
service provided by YouTube. By using shared YouTube Content, you hereby agree
to be bound by the Google Privacy Policy located at http://www.google.com/policies/privacy.
8.6
As stated in the GlobalBuy Terms of Service, users (including any employees,
agents, representatives, or anyone acting on behalf of or on behalf of the
user) who possess another user's personal data through the use of the Service
(“Recipient”) hereby agree that they will comply with all privacy laws
applicable to any such data, including any collection, processing, storage, or
transfer of such data.
8.7
Notwithstanding anything herein, the Seller (including any employees, agents,
representatives, or anyone acting on behalf of or on behalf of the user) shall
comply with all applicable privacy laws relating to any buyer information
received from GlobalBuy.
8.7.1
Buyer's personal data shall not be used without the prior written consent of the
Buyer and GlobalBuy, except as reasonably necessary to respond to the Buyer's
inquiries and to respond to, process, handle, or complete transactions. Such
information should be avoided when contacting buyers outside the GlobalBuy
platform.
8.7.2
The GlobalBuy platform will not disclose the Buyer's personal data to any
unauthorized third party without the prior written consent of the Buyer and
GlobalBuy.
8.7.3
The GlobalBuy platform will take sufficient security measures to protect the
personal data of each GlobalBuy user it holds, retain the data only for the
purposes stated above and for the necessary periods as required by privacy
laws, and delete or return the data to GlobalBuy upon any request from
GlobalBuy or within a reasonable time after the transaction is completed, and
notify GlobalBuy's Personal Data Protection Officer in the event of any
potential data breach or other loss of such user data.
9.
Our Policy on Children
The
service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly
collect or maintain personal data or non-personally identifiable information of
anyone under the age of 13, and no part of our platform is directed at children
under the age of 13. We will delete and remove any personal information that we
believe was submitted by any child under the age of 13. In some jurisdictions,
where applicable laws may have higher age restrictions, we comply with the
applicable age restrictions.
